Along time ago, a husband and wife lived happily in a castle at the edge of a wood. They had many soldiers, they so friendly and good to all people. They was Kanda and Adinda. Kanda was a king, and his wife was a normal people.

One day Kanda and Adinda got a time to rest and to be glad in the river. They were so happy and funny. Out of the blue, Adinda was looked a girl opposite the river. Adinda tried to persuade his husband for met the girl. Then they went to the girl, when they arrived in opposite the river. Adinda as soon as help the girl. The girl so beautiful but poor. “ Watcha doing here?” said Adinda. But the girl just cried and cried. Kanda commanded his soldiers to safe the girl with provide food and drink.

Several days ago, Adinda was successed made the girl to speak and then they were like a close sister. Looked that, Kanda was happy. In the next moment the girl was looked kanda,  who had a breakfast, than the girl was feeling in love but the girl very afraid for explain the felt.

Some days passed, every slept the girl met Kanda in his dreams. When the girl got a woke up,  as soon as the girl  tried made Kanda became love with she. But kanda don’t felt love to the girl, Kanda was love just one girl that is Adinda. The girl was really angry. She very wanted became Kanda’s wife, the girl changed became bad.

Next month, Kanda had a task, to help his friend for war. Then kanda and some soldiers went to join in the war. The girl very happy. The girl had a planed, the girl persuaded many soldiers to help her  for became kanda’s wife. Adinda didn’t know, that the girl changed became bad.

When Kanda arrived, the girl as soon as told kanda that Adinda was dishonest, many soldiers who help the girl also told the same story. Kanda was sad. Kanda very disappointed. Kanda as soon as found Adinda. Then Kanda met Adinda in the Bridge River, Adinda was happy when looked Kanda already back, Adinda as soon as embraced Kanda. But Kanda Push Adinda Body. Adinda so confused, “What’s up ?” In this time Kanda was angry and sad “ were you consider as to with me? I didn’t believe that? I very love you, why you make me disappointed ” kanda said. “ what were you talking Kanda, I didn’t understood” Between the Chat the girl and some soldiers were come. Than the girl only slander Adinda that Adinda was disappointed, some soldiers also said that. Kanda just stood stilled. Adinda cried with ask pardon and expalin that she not dishonest, but Kanda just stared.

The girl very Happy, cause she thougt she was success than she wanna got married with Kanda. Adinda continuously ask pardon and explain that she wasn’t dishonest. Didn’t took a long time, Adinda wanted to prove that she wasn’t dishonest, she told that she wanted to jump into the River, If the smelt was bad it was true, that she was dishonest, but if the smelt was good it’s mean that she was honest. Before she wanted to jump, she ask pardon once again. Than Adinda Jump into the river......... After Adinda jump into the river, the weather so odded. There were thunderclap, hard rainy, hard wind and the condition so scare. Kanda stilled stupid and bad

In the next morning ,arround the river many people could felt nice and good smelt. The information fast to spreaded until Kanda was heard. Kanda and All soldiers included the girl was went to the river. Kanda was regreted “ why I didn’t believe my wife” said Kanda in the deep heart.  Kanda was sorry to his wife, Kanda Commanded his faithful Soldiers for Punish who was Slander his wife and for reminisced the wife Kanda was named the location is Banyu Wangi. Local people called Banyuwangi from Banyu and Wangi, Banyu meaning “ Water” and wangi meaning “sweet-smelling”.
